felt that a couple programs deserved honorable mention. The
installations are a breeze and searching and downloading are
similar to the other programs we went over.
 Shareaza
is incredibly easy to use, and is spyware and adware free.
It’s great for p2p beginners.
 iMesh
Light is also free of spyware.
Tip: Each
of these programs (Limewire, Kazaa, Emule, Shareaza, iMesh)
have a few things in common. First, they all have some way
of showing you that there is more than one copy of a particular
file available. It could be a “+” next to the
result, or an actual number. You will want do download the
files with the most duplicates as this will help ensure that
you download a full copy. Look at it this way: If you download
a song with only one copy available, and the person that you
are downloading from signs off, your download stops. If there
was more than one copy, it would simply resume from someone
else.
Also, look
for a file with a high bandwidth. The higher the bandwidth,
the faster the file will transfer to you.
